Cool to see all the Jake Arrieta love. I’ve been telling anyone who’ll listen that he was/is the Cubs best pitcher (Sorry Lester), even back before the all-star break when he got snubbed from the all-star team.

Also, the Cubs pajama party thing is another indicator of why baseball is the best game on the planet. Baseball players are just a fun, quirky bunch. Grown men playing a kid’s game, and I think it’s awesome.

The Cardinals have done Tacky Suits and camel outfits to keep it loose during past seasons. They’ve also done a Kentucky Derby themed Make-A-Wish fundraiser which included Kolten Wong dressed up like a jockey. I just don’t think that’s stuff you see too often in other professional sports.
