The 2016 Cardinals were one of the strangest baseball teams I’ve watched in my life. Their biggest flaw, bad defense, is the easiest to fix. Our fans are so spoiled when a “bad” year is playing for the postseason on the last day of the season and finishing 86-76.

Excited to see a full year of Diaz, Grichuk, Wong, Reyes, Weaver, etc in 2017. We should be chock full of pitching in a weak pitching market, so I fully expect a trade or two this offseason. My World Series prediction: Red Sox over the Cubs in 6 games.

UPDATE: after much deliberation I’m changing my pick. Cubs over Red Sox in 6 games. This Cub team is too good not to win it all.
