Love being at the ballpark
I’ve had tickets to 5 Cards games this year. 3-0 until yesterday. Last two days have been awful baseball, but still love being at the ballpark with the wife. A Pirates loss today takes away the sting. Magic number 21. Go Cards!

100 Wins and Counting
100 wins & counting. 3rd consecutive division title. That’s all cool, but we’re in this for those 11 wins that matter in October. Go CARDS! #OwnOctober

Love Baseball!
Cool to see all the Jake Arrieta love. I’ve been telling anyone who’ll listen that he was/is the Cubs best pitcher (Sorry Lester), even back before the all-star break when he got snubbed from the all-star team. Also, the Cubs pajama party thing is another indicator of why baseball is the best game on the…

The rest of the MLB better get used to the NL Central. We’re gonna run the league for the foreseeable future. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/just-a-bit-outside/baseball-joe/blog/st-lou…

Rizzo is a stud
I don’t care what team you root for, but this is one of the coolest plays you’ll ever see. Rizzo is a stud. After watching the video, I can’t help but think how dangerous that was as well. Who thinks Theo went and had a chat with him about that after the game? Pretty awesome.…

The goal ahead is not that. That’s refreshing. I feel like they have a very structured organization, and from what I can tell they handle things…

The Real Rookie of the Year
I hate to break it to the national media, and Chicago, LA fans, but Grichuk should be Rookie of the Year. Go Cards! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2541003-randal-grichuk-is-cardinals-b…

Marion, Illinois
Pretty cool story about Marion, Illinois. Two baseball greats, Ray Fosse and Pete Rose, have a unique connection for this All-Star Game collision and the town of Marion. I think the “Moon Pies” they mention in the story still have an old billboard along I-57S. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13223207/ray-fosse-pete-rose-all-star-…
